Using the theoretical background I built in my MA degree in Anglophone Modernities in Literature and culture, in my films I engage with themes of the experiences of women, mobility, and labour. My films take on an experimental feminist form.
I also film dance, movement, and performance working closely with artists, choreographers, and performers.
Current projects:
Because Why An experimental documentary film investigating the relationship between Gender Based Violence and mobility in South Africa. The film engages with the experiences of women and girls and is based on my theoretical MA Thesis.
Irrequitezza An art film by two women filmmakers looking at a past Venetian experimental feminist artist’s body of work and the themes in her pieces.
