In 2002 Chris started gaining vocational experience absolving his first internships at professional portrait studios in Cologne.
From 2003 to 2006 he successfully completed his apprenticeship and graduated as professional photographer at the German Chamber of Crafts.
Since 2006 Chris works for many different studios, magazines, bands and labels.
He shot & produced exclusive press and promotional material for acts like Robert Forster, White Fence, Beach Fossils, Von Spar, Werle & Stankowski, Urlaub In Polen or Abay. Labels such as Italic Recordings, Buback Tonträger, Haute Areal, Tom Lab and Strange Ways have been and still are his clients.
A lot of magazines like New York Times, India Times, Die Zeit, Die Welt, Süddeusche Zeitung, Intro, Musikexpress, Visions, Rolling Stone and a lot of different city magazines printed and published his work.
Chris also shot and designed plenty of catalogue covers, album covers and tour posters. His press pictures have gained worldwide publicity at music trade shows like Shanghai, Rio de Janeiro or Frankfurt.
Chris focuses particularly on portaits of artists and musicians, but also does classic portraits of unknown people and takes photos of events and weddings. A further passion of Chris is filming music videos, so do not hesitate to contact him on this, too!
