Frontiers is a global academic publisher that does things differently. In our new unit called customer journeys, we’re looking for a product management leader driving our internal marketing automation.

In this role, you’ll create vision & strategy for our internal marketing automation tools, initiate and drive feature development based on a roadmap and iterative approach, and coordinate & prioritize stakeholders.

To do that, you understand today’s campaign operations, derive goals from the business strategy, and close the gap. You lead a small team of people dedicated to your product, but more importantly, coordinate everyone else required.

Today, marketing automation for us mostly means email marketing – in future, we’re looking at a broader marketing mix. You’re central to enabling this transition.

You’ll be at home in your product management team, adjacent to our marketing automation specialists who use your product, and three more teams.

Minimum skills

2 years of experience in product management for a tech product
2 years of experience with marketing automation
2 years of experience in working with Salesforce (and its parts)
Experience in developing marketing automation from a technical side, enabling its business use
Good technical understanding, and provable expertise driving implementations between data sources, and IT tools
English (good communication, written and oral)
Desirable skills

Experience in academia and research communities
Relevant certificates or education
